Coaching structure for 2022/23

Thames Rowing Club is pleased to be able to confirm its coaching structure for 2022/23.

Following the departure of men’s coach Jeroen van der Kall at the end of the 2022/21 season, the men’s squad will be overseen by head coach Sander Smulders, supported by a team of experienced volunteers.

Jamie Brown will take responsibility for leading the men’s club boats at Henley Royal Regatta, following his work coaching the winning Britannia Cup and Wyfold Cup crews in 2022, and the Wyfold Cup in 2021.

Women’s coach Tom Mapp remains in charge of the women’s squad, again supported by a team of experienced volunteers.
