Quintin Head 2018

Novice women

TRC entered 11 boats into Quintin Head last Saturday, with extremely promising results all round. Most notably the novice women took the win in the WN category.

Across the rest of the squad, the women's senior 8 came 2nd behind Cambridge University, the 2nd 8 were 2nd in WIM2, and the 3rd 8 also competed in WIM2, taking 7th place. The 2nd novice women's crew were 12th in WN.

On the men's side, the 1st 8 came 3rd in Elite, 2nd 8 were 4th in Senior, and the 3rd & 4th 8 were 2nd and 6th respectively in IM1. Overall there were only 31seconds between the 1st and 4th 8 times, which makes for a very exciting season ahead!

We also had a MasF boat race, achieving 4th place.

Congratulations to all crews who raced! We now look forward to the next five weeks of training for the Heads of the River races.
