British Junior Champs 2018

The Henleys might be over but the season is not (quite).

Our junior squad went to the British Rowing Junior Championships in Nottingham at the weekend and came away with some great results.

Megan, who has been rowing with the senior squad this year, teamed up with a sculler from Nottingham RC to compete in WJ18 2x. They improved over the regatta from fourth place in the time trials to silver in the final.

In WJ16 1x Sasha raced superbly to bronze, despite giving away a significant amount of weight and height to her opponents. The WJ16 2x of Sasha and Hannah were third in the B final.

Hannah, Joseph and Tilda all produced good results in their respective 1x events (WJ15, J16 and WJ18) to finish fourth in minor finals.

Over in Cork, congratulations to Jacob Bryning who raced for Wales at the Home International Regatta.

At Molesey, there were sadly no wins for our masters, racing in a couple of 4xs and a 2x, but a good day out was had by all.
