Success at Pairs Head 2019

A total of 14 Thames crews took to the water on Sunday for the first big race of the season, Pairs Head. The club picked up one pennant and a number of second and third places.

Ned Rae Smith and Simon Nunayon came out as the fastest of our Open Championship 2- entries, winning the event and finishing 29th overall. They were closely followed by Simon Williamson and Jake Brown, with Simon Moss and Max Robinson coming in third.

Ruth Taylor and Sarah Carlotti were second in the Women's Championship 2-, and Ellie Higginbotham and Katie Woodward finished second in Women's Intermediate 2-.

Rob O'Callaghan and Huw Jones were third in Open Senior 2-, while Leah Colthurst and Alice Manly finished third in Women's Senior 2-.
